Researches show that the consumer chooses products associated to an ethical social attitude and with environmental responsability. It was needed an international marketplace to promote these companies and organizations commited with sustainability and their results. This marketplace was launched in November 2005, in Brazil, concurrent to BioFach América Latina: it is called ExpoSustentat.

Pesquisas mostram que o consumidor prefere produtos associados a uma postura social ética e responsável com o meio ambiente. Faltava um marketplace internacional para promover estas organizações e entidades comprometidas com a sustentabilidade. Este  espaço foi inaugurado em novembro de 2005, no Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, paralelamente à BioFach América Latina: chama-se ExpoSustentat.
